Dr. Carlisle has been practicing cardiology since 1982. He received his B.S in Biology and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He served in the Navy from 1970 to 1993, where he had many appointments, including Chief of Cardiology at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. He was also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Carlisle entered private practice in Alabama, where he worked for 12 years. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He joined Coastal Cardiology in 2005, and works at the Templeton office.
