Dr. Bocchicchio, a native of California, received an M.D. from Tulane University in New Orleans, after receiving a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, with honors, from the University of California, San Diego. He trained in Internal Medicine at Scripps-Mercy Hospital in San Diego, and Cardiovascular Diseases at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He received an additional year of training in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Interventions at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bocchicchio is Board-Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He was elected to fellowship in the American College of Cardiology in 2005. His areas of interest include cardiac and peripheral interventions and structural heart disease interventions. Hobbies include composing music, jazz piano, and volleyball.
