Robert Doria

MD, FACC

Robert-DoriaDr. Doria has lived on the Central Coast and practiced Cardiovascular Medicine as a partner with Coastal Cardiology since 1990. His undergraduate education was obtained at the U.S. Air Force Academy and the University of California, Los Angeles. He attended graduate schools at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and UCLA where he studied radiation biology and radiation physics. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California. After residency in Internal Medicine, he completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Irvine.

While he practices all aspects of cardiology, his primary interests are in the treatment of coronary artery disease, interventional revascularization procedures, cardiac arrhythmias including treatment with pacemaker and defibrillator devices, and advanced congestive heart failure, including the use of device therapies for support and cardiac transplantation.

Dr. Doria has received Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology in 1990.

Dr. Doria lives with his wife and three children and enjoys spending spare time with family activities, youth sports, basketball and snow skiing.
